BEAN SPROUT & VEG SALAD
Sprouts and vegetables toss in lemon dressing.
Preparation Time : 5-10 minutes
Cooking Time : 10-15 minutes
Servings : 4
INGREDIENTS
Bean sprouts
2 cups
Salt
to taste
Turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon
Tomato, finely chopped
2 medium
Onion , finely chopped
1 medium
Green chilli, finely chopped
1
Potato, boiled, peeled and chopped
1 medium
Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
a few sprigs
Ginger, finely chopped
1 inch piece
Lemon juice
3 teaspoons
Chaat masala
2 tablespoons
Cucumber, finely chopped
1 small
METHOD
Mix together bean sprouts, salt and turmeric powder and steam for four to five minutes and cool. Mix together steamed sprouts, tomato, onion, green chilli, potato, fresh coriander leaves, ginger, lemon juice, chaat masala and cucumber. Toss well and serve.
