Add fresh cream and whisk again. Spread cornflakes on a plate. Dip 4 bread slices in the egg mixture, coat them with cornflakes and place them on a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining 4 slices and place them over the slices on the plate and press lightly. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, place the sandwiches in the pan and shallow-fry, turning sides, till evenly cooked and golden on both sides. Mix icing sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl. Halve each banana French toast, arrange them on a serving plate, dredge sugar mixture on top and serve immediately.
