Ingredients list for Kamal Kakdi

  • 3 medium Cucumber peeled and cut into 1 cm cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut grated
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 5 Curry leaves
  • a pinch Asafoetida
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. In a bowl mix together cucumber, chillies, garlic paste, ginger paste, lemon juice and fresh coriander. Mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and asafetida. Saute for a minute. Add to the above mixture.
  3. Add coconut and salt. Mix well. Chill and serv
