Mexican Chicken Fajita A traditional Mexican dish full of colour and flavour placed in a tortilla and served. This recipe has featured on the show Khanakhazana. By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tortillas, Chicken Cuisine Mexican Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Mexican Chicken Fajita 4 Tortillas 2 Chicken cut into thin strips 2 tablespoons Olive oil 2 medium Onions halved and sliced horizontally 2 medium Green capsicums sliced 2 teaspoon Soy sauce 1 Dried red chillies crushed 4-6 Black peppercorns crushed to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Brown sugar 1/4 cup Cheese grated 2 Jalapeno sliced Method Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté for a minute. Add garlic and capsicum and stir. Add chicken and stir-fry for two minutes. Add soy sauce, crushed red chillies, crushed peppercorns and stir. Add salt, brown sugar and a little water and cook till the chicken is done. Heat a sizzler plate and put the chicken on it. Take a tortilla, place a little chicken mixture in the centre, sprinkle grated cheese and jalapeno pepper slices.
