Ingredients

  • Whole green grams (sabut moong) soaked for 1 hour blanched and drained
    1 cup
  • Refined flour (maida)
    2 cups
  • Baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon
  • Condensed milk
    4 tablespoons
  • Salt
    a pinch
  • Chaat masala
    1 teaspoon
  • Khoya/mawa grated
    1/2 cup
  • Butter
    2 tablespo
  • Milk
    1 cup

Method

Step 1


Sift together refined flour, baking powder and baking soda into a bowl.

Step 2


Add condensed milk, salt, chaat masala, khoya, 2 tablespoons butter and moong dal. Mix well.

Step 3


Add milk and mix well to make a thick batter.

Step 4


Heat a waffle machine and brush with a little butter.

Step 5


Pour a little batter into it, close the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes or till golden.

Step 6


Serve hot with honey.
