Ingredients list for Moong Dosa

  • 1 1/2 cups Moong Sprouts
  • Dosa Batter
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 2 inch piece Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder

Method

  1. Mix together moong sprouts, ½ cup water and salt in a bowl and cook in a microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  2. Drain extra water. Chop green chillies and ginger.
  3. Take dosa batter in a bowl, add green chillies, ginger, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and moong sprouts and mix well.
  4. Heat a non stick dosa tawa, grease it with a little oil. Pour small quantities of dosa batter and spread into small dosas.
  5. Cook on a low heat, turning sides, till both sides are evenly cooked.
  6. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
