Ingredients list for Pickled Red Peppers

  • 6 Red capsicums cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Mace powder
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg powder

  1. Heat vinegar in a non-stick pan. Add one teaspoon salt, half teaspoon mace powder and half teaspoon nutmeg powder and mix well.
  2. Place the red capsicums in a jar. Sprinkle the remaining salt, mace powder and nutmeg powder over it and mix well.
  3. Add boiling vinegar over it and mix well. Cover the jar when cold.
  4. Cover and keep it for two days before using it.
