Ingredients list for Plantain Sambhariya

  • 4 Raw Banana halved horizontally, boiled, peeled and cut into f
  • 1 tbsp + f Coconut
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 4 Green chillies
  • ½ cup Raw peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Raisins
  • 1 cup Scraped coconut fresh
  • 1 medium bunch Fresh coriander leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • 1½ tablespoons Sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the bananas fingers till golden and drain on absorbent paper.
  2. Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and green chillies and sauté till fragrant.
  3. Add raw peanuts and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add fried bananas, raisins, coconut, coriander leaves, salt, sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
