This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Jul 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Prawns, Brinjals Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Prawn Baingan Masala 500 grams Prawns shelled and deveined 1 medium Brinjals roasted and peeled 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Onion seeds (kalonji) 4 Green chillies finely chopped 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped 2 medium Onions 2 medium Red tomatoes 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 100 grams Bhuna masala 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves + a fresh coriander sprig finely chopped Method Advertisment Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion seeds, green chillies, ginger, garlic and sauté for half a minute. Finely chop onions, add to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Finely chop roasted brinjal and tomatoes. Add tomatoes to the pan and mix well. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add bhuna masala, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add prawns, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add brinjal, coriander leaves, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with a fresh coriander sprig and serve hot.
