Ingredients list for Shaadiwale Matar Mushroom

  • 1 cup Green peas Thawed frozen
  • 10-15 Button mushrooms quartered
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2-3 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 3/4 cup Tomato puree
  • 1/4 cup Cashewnut paste
  • 3 tablespoons Mawa (khoya) grated
  • 2 teaspoons Garam masala powder

Method

  1. Cook mushrooms with 1 cup water, salt and turmeric powder in a non-stick pan till soft.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions and sauté till light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix well and add 1 tbsp water. Mix and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder. Mix well and add tomato puree. Mix again and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add cashewnut paste. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
    Add mawa and mix again. Add mushrooms with water and mix. Add green peas, salt and mix again. Add garam masala powder and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot.
