Ingredients list for Tomato Rice with Herb and Cheese

  • 3 cups Cooked Rice
  • 3 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh mixed herbs (rosemary, oregano, basil, thyme)
  • for garnishing Grated processed cheese 1/2 cup +
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Minced garlic
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
  • to taste Salt
  • for garnishing Fresh parsley Chopped, 1 tablespoon +

Method

  1. Heat butter in a non-stick wok, add garlic and onion and sauté till onion turns translucent.
  2. Add tomatoes and stir on high heat for a minute. Add paprika powder and salt and mix well. Add rice and mix well.
  3. Add mixed herbs and parsley, mix well and cook on low heat for a minute.
  4. Add cheese, cover and cook on low heat for a minute.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot garnished with a little parsley and cheese.
