Vindi Sorse Posto By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ladyfingers, Poppy seeds Cuisine Bengali Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Vindi Sorse Posto 200 grams Ladyfingers halved 2 teaspoons Poppy seeds soaked for ½ hour 1 1/2 teaspoons Mustard seeds 3-4 Green chillies 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander chopped to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Mustard oil 1/2 tablespoon Sugar 1/4 teaspoon Onion seeds 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Drain the poppy seeds and grind to a fine paste with sufficient water and transfer in a bowl. Make a paste of mustard seeds and green chillies and set aside. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion seeds and let it crackle. Add ladyfingers and cook for two minutes. Add turmeric powder, salt and sugar and cook for a minute. Add the green chillies and mustard paste, cook for 2 minutes. Add the poppy seeds paste, mix well. Cover it with a lid and cook for 2 minutes. Once the gravy is thick, switch of the heat.
