By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Apples, Lemon juice Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 2-3days Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 20 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Apple Pickle 250 grams Apples cut into 1 inch cubes 2 tablespoons Lemon juice 2 teaspoons Mustard powder 2 tablespoons Aniseed (saunf) powder 2 tablespoons Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Fenugreek powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Onion seeds (kalonji) to taste Salt a pinch Asafoetida 5 tablespoons Oil Method In a bowl Mix together apple and lemon juice. Now dry the apples for 2-3 days. Once the apples are dried, place them in a jar, add mustard powder, aniseed powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, coriander powder, salt, asafoetida and oil. Mix them well.
