By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chocolate Biscuits, Rum Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Choco Rum Slice 8-10 Chocolate Biscuits 2 tablespoons Rum 1 cup Sultanas 1/2 cup Walnuts shelled 1/2 cup Butter 1/2 cup Condensed milk 1 Egg 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder 125 grams Dark chocolate Method Advertisment Crush biscuits to a coarse powder. Wash and pat dry sultanas. Dry roast walnuts and chop roughly. In a large bowl combine crushed biscuits, sultanas and chopped walnuts. Lightly mix and set aside. Combine butter and condensed milk in a pan, cook over low heat till butter melts. Remove from heat, whisk in egg, cinnamon and rum. Add the butter mixture to the biscuit mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until well combined. Line the base and sides of a square cake tin with aluminum foil and grease the foil with butter. Press the above mixture evenly into the prepared cake tin. Grate and place chocolate in a pan. Stir over barely simmering water until melted. Remove from heat and spread chocolate evenly over the biscuit mixture using a palette knife. Mark into slices and refrigerate until firm. Cut into slices and serve. Store in airtight container under refrigeration.
