This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients White Bread Slices, Cauliflower Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for College Sandwich 8 White Bread Slices Cauliflower 1/2 small Cauliflower florets separated and blanched 1/2 medium Carrot chopped and blanched 4-5 French beans chopped and blanched 1 tablespoon Oil 1/2 inch piece Ginger finely chopped 1 small Onion finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 Green chilli finely chopped to taste Salt 100 grams Bhuna masala 2 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and grated 1/4 teaspoon Chaat masala 1/2 cup Cheese grated 4 tablespoons Butter Method Drain and coarsely grind together cauliflower, carrot and French beans. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger and sauté for a minute. Add onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the ground vegetables and sauté for a minute. Add red chilli powder, green chilli and salt and mix well. Add bhuna masala and mix. Add potatoes, chaat masala and mix well. Transfer this mixture into a bowl. Place 4 bread slices on the work top. Divide the vegetable mixture into 4 parts. Place a portion of the mixture on each bread slice. Top it with cheese. Cover with the remaining bread slices. Apply ½ tbsp butter on each side of the sandwiches. Preheat a griller for 3-4 minutes. Place the sandwiches in the griller and grill for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot.
