By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Jul 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Baby potatoes,, Oil Cuisine Delhi Course Main Course-Veg Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Medium Others Veg Ingredients list for Dum aloo 1 packet Baby potatoes, peeled 3 tablespo Oil 1 large Onion, chopped 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 4 Cloves 2 Bay leaves 8 Peppercorns 4 Green cardamoms 1 inch stick Cinnamon 1 large Tomato, chopped 1/4 cup Onion paste 1 teaspoon Garam masala to taste Salt 2 cup Yogurt, whisked Method Prick the potatoes and deep fry them till golden. Drain and remove on absorbent paper.Heat oil in a non stick pan, add onion, ginger garlic paste, cloves, bay leaf, peppercorns, cardamoms and cinnamon stick. Saute till brown. Add chopped tomato, onion paste and little water. Mix well and allow the mixture to boil.Add garam masala, salt and curd. Toss well add ½ cup water and fried potatoes.Cook on low heat till gravy thickens.
