Sprinkle some water and mix to make a soft dough. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Shape the dough into even sized balls, gently slide them into the hot oil, a few at a time, and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
