Ingredients list for Paneer Sandwich

  • 8 quarter Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 2 medium Potatoes blanched, peeled and sliced
  • as required Mint chutney
  • as required Strawberries hulled
  • 1 medium Beetroot boiled, peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium Tomatoes cut into roundels
  • 2 medium Cucumbers cut into roundels
  • medium Onions cut into thin strips

Method

  1. Apply mint chutney on one side of all the paneer slices. Arrange 4 slices on the work top with chutney side up.
  2. Place layers of potato, beetroot, tomato, cucumber and onion.
  3. Cover each with another slice of paneer, chutney side facing down and press lightly.
  4. Heat a griller and cook the sandwiches till golden brown.
  5. Arrange onion rings and thin strips of green capsicum on a serving plate.
  6. Cut each sandwich into 2 pieces, transfer them onto the serving plate and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
