By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Macaroni, Kidney beans Cuisine Indo-Italian Course Soups Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Pasta Soup 1/2 cup Macaroni 1 cup Kidney beans Soaked overnight and boiled with salt 1 tablespoon Oil 2 Garlic cloves crushed 2 Spring onion bulb thin slices 5-6 Babycorns sliced 4 cups Vegetable stock 3 tablespoons Tomato puree 2 Spring onion greens thin slices 1 Tomato finely chopped 2 teaspoons Tobasco sauce to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon Dried thyme 6-8 Fresh basil leaves torn Method Advertisment Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add garlic, spring onion bulbs and babycorns and sauté for two minutes. Add kidney beans and vegetable stock and mix well. Add macaroni and mix. Cover and simmer for ten minutes or till the macaroni gets cooked. Stir in tomato puree, spring onion greens, tomato and mix. Add Tabasco sauce, salt, pepper powder, thyme and basil leaves and mix well. Serve hot.
