By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Peanuts, Gram Flour Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Peanut Pakodi 1 cup Peanuts shelled 3/4 cup Gram Flour 2 tablespoons Rice flour 1 1/2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds coarsely crushed a pinch Citric acid powder to taste Salt 1/4 cup Water (approx) 1 tablespoon + to deep fry Oil Method Mix together gram flour, rice flour, red chilli powder, crushed cumin seeds, citric acid powder, salt and one-fourth cup of water. Add peanuts, coat them evenly with the mixture. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop a lumpfull of the coated nuts in hot oil. Fry on medium heat, till light golden. Drain onto an absorbent paper to soak excess oil. Separate any nuts stuck together. When cool, store in airtight jars. Serve with drinks, cocktails or as anytime snacks.
