By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Raw peanuts, Oil Cuisine TamilNadu Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Peanut Sundal 2 cups Raw peanuts 1 1/2 Oil 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 5-6 Curry leaves a pinch Asafoetida 1 large Onion chopped 2-3 Green chilli chopped 1/4 cup Coconut,grated 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon Lemon juice to taste Salt Method Advertisment Boil or pressure cook peanuts in four cups of salted water till almost done. Drain, refresh and set aside. Heat the oil in a kadai; add the mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry for half a minute. Add the asafoetida, onion and green chillies and sauté for one minute. Add the peanuts, coconut, coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt and toss to mix well. Continue to sauté for half a minute. Serve hot.
