Ingredients list for Shakkarkandi aur Kiwi Chaat

  • 2 Sweet potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 3 Kiwi
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 1/2 cup Mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak)
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander seeds roasted and crushed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds,roasted

Method

  1. Roughly chop ginger, green chillies, mint leaves, 1 kiwi and coriander leaves and grind into chutney. Cut sweet potato into small cubes. Peel the remaining kiwi and cut into small cubes. Place both in a bowl.
  2. Add black salt, chaat masala, crushed black peppercorns, crushed coriander seeds, ground chutney, lemon juice and salt and mix well and transfer into a serving bowl.
  3. Crush the roasted cumin seeds with a rolling pin and sprinkle it over the chaat. Garnish with tomato wedges and serve.
