Ingredients list for Spinach And Tofu Soup

  • 1 (250 gms) Spinach Leaves shredded roughly
  • 100 grams Tofu
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger finely chopped
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 4-5 cup Vegetable stock
  • 1/4 teaspoon MSG
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Cut the tofu into quarter inch thick slices and further cut them into one-inch triangles. Heat the oil in a wok or a pan, add the ginger and garlic and stir-fry for half a minute.
  2. Stir in the vegetable stock and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, add the tofu pieces, MSG, soy sauce, white pepper powder and salt and simmer for two to three minutes.
  3. Add the spinach leaves and continue to cook for a minute, stirring gently. Serve hot.
