Tomatoes roughly chopped

Fresh basil leaves
Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Roughly chop onions. Add cumin seeds, onions and sauté. Crush garlic and add along with tomatoes. Mix and add salt, black pepper powder and mix again.
Add 3 cups water, close the cooker with its lid and cook under pressure till 2-3 whistles are given out. Open the lid when the pressure reduces and transfer the mixture into a blender jar and let it cool.
Trim the edges of bread slices and add to the blender jar. Add basil leaves and blend everything till smooth.
Pour the soup back into the pan and heat. Serve piping hot.
