  • 1 large Cabbage

Method

  1. Wash, clean and chop the cabbage. Keep aside. Mix the red chilli powder with two tablespoons of water and keep aside.
  2. Mix asafoetida in one teaspoon of water and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and when they change colour add the cabbage and sauté for two minutes.
  3. Add salt, red chilli water, asafoetida water, turmeric powder and cover and cook till half done. Add a little water if required.
  4. Add ginger powder and fennel powder and cook further till done. Serve hot.
