Baking is therapeutic, hence proved!

Do you know there are two very important days to know about today? World Baking Day and World Hypertension Day! We believe there’s a strong reason behind them falling on the same day of the year. Baking is one of the most therapeutic things on this planet. So we thought, why not make the most of this day? Whether you’re into hard core cooking or not, baking a cake would have always been more like an escape from the reality. And not to forget, it is also one of the easiest things to comfort you super quick.

Today is the day that you need not worry at all. We’ve got some interesting recipes for you to get a high baking fever and say goodbye to your stress!

But first, here are some baking tips if you want to become a pro:

  1. Read the recipe twice or even thrice before you start prepping.
  2. Use the ingredients at room temperature – unless the recipe says otherwise.
  3. Always stick to the recipe. Every recipe will have its own combination, so don’t mess with that.
  4. Baking is all about precision. Measure the ingredients perfectly as it can have a considerable effect on the final result.
  5. Add the right ingredients at the right time. The way an ingredient is added also impacts the outcome.
  6. Mixing and folding of the mixture are as important as the way ingredients are added.
  7. Whenever a recipe asks to pre-heat the oven, start that beforehand and open the oven only when you’re actually set to put your tin inside.
  8. Unmold/demould, when the baked goodies are cooled to room temperature. It is easier and fuss-free too.
