Merry Christmas menu!

It’s Christmas! That time of the year when you bond with friends and family over delicious food and drink. --We bring to you some fabulous recipes perfect for Christmas that help you do just that!

BREAKFAST

Christmas breakfast is meant to be epic, cause what better way to start your Christmas than with gorgeous food.

Pancakes - There are few things better than a fluffy pancake drizzled with golden maple syrup on a glorious Christmas morning. This Christmas, glam up the traditional breakfast staple - try making a sticky date pancake which is made by blending dates in the pancake batter and served with a toffee sauce and caramelized banana slices tossed in butter. Make pancakes with fresh fruits like an orange Pancake or a Hawaiian Style fruit pancake or go savoury with a cheesy pumpkin pancake or make pancake eggs. Serve these with crispy bacon and some lovely eggnog for a brilliant Christmas morning breakfast!

Eggs – Eggs are a morning staple. We have got a number of ways to make eggs glamorous enough for Christmas.  Sunday eggs are beaten eggs poured over spicy broccoli mixture in muffin moulds and baked, hard to wrong with and delicious to eat. Poached fried eggs are a recipe that mixes to classics – perfectly poached eggs crumbed and the fried served with some spicy chicken sausages and lettuce. Or try scrambled eggs with roasted mushrooms on toast or a glammed up version of scotch eggs - Falafel Scotch Eggs with Ver Juice Tahini.

LUNCH

Lunch during Christmas should be delicious enough to make you forget about breakfast and light enough so you look forward for dinner. These three recipes are perfect!

Cheese crusted chicken with salad – A really awesome lunch idea is to make some cheese crusted chicken with salad. Succulent baked chicken breasts topped with melted cheese served on a flavourful salad bed! Serve alongwith some Apricot rice with nuts to make a complete, really easy to put together meal for lunch.

Pasta with Greens – Pasta with exotic greens served with a tomato basil sauce. We have used veggies like morel mushrooms, asparagus, green beans and the crunch of pine nuts in this recipe. While this vegetarian pasta is fabulous in itself add spicy sausages or crispy bacon if you are a meat loyalist!
Rack of Lamb with Apple Sauce - Rack of lamb baked dribbled with olive oil and served with a delectable white wine green apple sauce and hand torn lettuce leaves. Making this doesn’t require too much prep and will keep you free to enjoy Christmas the way it should be enjoyed!
