Ingredients list for Aam Panna Sorbet

  • 3 Raw mangoes boiled, peeled and pulp removed
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • to taste Black salt
  • 2 teaspoons Roasted cumin powder
  • a pinch Nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
  • for garnish Fresh mint sprigs

Method

  1. Heat mango pulp in a deep non-stick pan. Add 2½ cups water and mix well.
  2. Add sugar, black salt, cumin powder and nutmeg powder, mix well and cook till the sugar dissolves.
  3. Transfer the mixture in ice cube tray and freeze for 6-8 hours.
  4. Crush in a blender.
  5. Scoop into individual martini glasses, garnish with mint sprigs and serve immediately.
