Ingredients list for Aloo Bhujia Tikki

  • as required Aloo bhujia (sev)
  • 4 Medium potatoes boiled, peeld and mashed
  • 2 tablespoons Cornflour
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 inch Ginger chopped
  • as required Cornflour slurry
  • to deep fry Oil
  • to serve Green chutney

Method

  1. In a bowl, add potatoes, ½ cup aloo bhujia sev, cornflour, green chillies, salt and ginger and mix well.
  2. Spread some aloo bhujia sev on a plate.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into tikkis. Dip in cornflour slurry and roll in aloo bhujia sev.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai, slide in the tikkis and and deep-fry till crisp and golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Arrange them on a serving platter and serve hot with green chutney.
