Ingredients list for Cheela Quesadilla

  • 180 grams Tata Sampann Moong Dal Chilla Mix
  • 1 cup Leftover rajma masala
  • for drizzling Oil
  • 1/2 cup Processed cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 Small green capsicum cut into thin strips
  • 1 Small red capsicum cut into thin strips
  • 1 Small yellow capsicum cut into thin strips
  • 1 Small onion finely sliced
  • for garnish Micro greens
  • to serve Tomato salsa

Method

  1. Take moong dal chilla mix in a bowl, add 1½ cups of water and whisk well into a smooth batter.
  2. Heat a little oil on a non-stick tawa and spread it all over the tawa with a damp tissue. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread it, drizzle some oil all around and on top and cook until the underside turns golden brown. Flip it over and cook for 2-3 minutes on other side as well. Set aside and similarly make one more chilla.
  3. Sprinkle half the processed cheese and mozzarella cheese on top of this chilla, spread rajma masala, green capsicum, red capsicum, yellow capsicum and onions.
  4. Sprinkle remaining processed cheese and mozzarella cheese on top. Cover with another chilla and press gently and cook for 1 minute. Flip and cook on the other side for 1 minute.
  5. Transfer onto a serving plate, cut into quarters and serve hot with micro greens and tomato salsa.
