Cheesy Garlic Bombs

Bread dough balls stuffed with mozzarella cheese cubes, brushed with garlic flavoured butter and baked. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients list for Cheesy Garlic Bombs

  • 150 grams Mozzarella cheese cut, medium cubes
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped
  • as required Bread dough
  • for dusting Refined flour (maida)
  • 1½ teaspoons Red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley chopped
  • + for greasing Butter 1 tablespoon

Method

  1. Dust worktop with some flour. Place the dough and stretch well. Add 1 teaspoon chilli flakes and parsley and knead.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions. Make cavity in each portion, place a cheese cube, seal and shape into balls.
  3. Dust the baking tray with flour, place the balls, cover with damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 180º C.
  5. Combine butter and garlic in a microwave proof bowl and mix. Add remaining chilli flakes and mix well.Place the bowl in the microwave and heat for 1 minute.
  6. Brush the proven balls with butter-garlic mixture. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and brush some butter on top.
  7. Serve hot.
