Ingredients list for Chicken Shaslik-SK Khazana

  • 250 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 Large onion cut into 1 inch cubes and layers separated
  • 1 Large red capsicum cut into 1 inch squares
  • 1 Large green capsicum cut into 1 inch squares
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • to taste White pepper powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cream
  • to taste Salt
  • for cooking Oil
  • to serve Onion rings
  • to serve Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Mix together turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, cream and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken, onion, red and green capsicum and mix well. Skewer alternatively onto satay sticks.
  3. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Place the sticks on it and cook, rotating them, till chicken is evenly cooked all around.
  4. Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
