By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Wonton wrappers , Oil Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Crispy Wontons 24 Wonton wrappers 2 tbsps + to deep fry Oil 4-6 cloves Garlic chopped 2 Spring onions chopped 2 medium Green capsicums chopped 8-10 cloves French beans chopped 2 medium Carrots chopped 1/2 small Cabbage chopped 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon MSG 1 teaspoon Soy sauce Method Advertisment Heat two tablespoons of oil in a wok or a pan, add chopped garlic and stir-fry briefly. Add chopped spring onion and capsicums, French beans, carrots and cabbage and continue to stir-fry for a couple of minutes more, stirring and tossing continuously. Add white pepper powder, salt, MSG, soy sauce and cook for half a minute. Set aside to cool. Divide prepared filling into twenty-four equal portions. Place a portion of the filling in the center of a wonton wrapper, wet the edges with a little water, fold into half diagonally, twist the ends and stick. Repeat this process to prepare all the wontons. Heat sufficient oil in a wok, add prepared wontons and deep-fry for two to three minutes or until crisp and golden brown in colour. Drain onto an absorbent paper. Serve hot with Sichuan sauce.
