Dahi Bhindi Ladyfingers cooked with yogurt and besan This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Jan 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Yogurt, Ladyfingers Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dahi Bhindi 1 1/2 cups Yogurt whisked 400 grams Ladyfingers 1 teaspoon Oil to taste Salt 5 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 3 Dried red chillies 2 teaspoons Coriander powder Method Wipe ladyfingers dry with a clean kitchen towel. Cut into large pieces. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add ladyfingers and salt. Toss and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Roast besan in another non stick pan till fragrant. Place yogurt in a bowl. Add turmeric powder and salt and whisk till smooth. Cut red chillies into pieces and add to ladyfingers along with coriander powder. Toss again. Add roasted besan, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add yogurt mixture. Mix well, lower heat, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring once a while.
