By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Sep 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mutton, Yogurt Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 2-2.30 hour Cook time 51-60 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Dahi Wala Mutton - SK Khazana 1 kilogram Mutton cut into 2 inch pieces on the bone 1 cup Yogurt 1 tablespoon Garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder to taste Salt 4 tablespoons Oil 6 Black peppercorns 2 Bay leaves 2 Green cardamoms 4 Cloves 2 Medium onions chopped 1/4 cup Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves roasted and powdered to garnish Fresh coriander sprig Method Take mutton pieces in a bowl, add yogurt, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 1-2 hours. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add black peppercorns, bay leaves, green cardamoms and cloves and sauté till fragrant. Add onions and sauté on medium heat till it turns golden brown. Add mutton and mix well. Cook on medium heat till oil separates. Add coriander leaves and dried fenugreek powder and mix well. Add sufficient water. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 25-30 minutes on medium heat or till the mutton is tender.
