By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Medium calamari (squids), Oil Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Fried Calamari 4-5 Medium calamari (squids) cleaned and cut into ½ cm rings to deep fry Oil 1 cup Refined flour 1/2 cup Cornflakes powdered 2-3 Fresh thyme sprigs chopped 1 teaspoon Paprika powder 1 teaspoon Garlic powder 1 teaspoon Onion powder to taste Black peppercorns crushed to taste Salt to serve Tartar sauce Method Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan. Take refined flour in a large bowl, add powdered cornflakes, thyme, paprika powder, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper powder and salt and mix well. Add the calamari and mix till they are well coated. Pass it through a sieve to dust off excess flour. Slide the calamari into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp.
