Ingredients list for Garlic And Green Pepper In Brine

  • 300 grams Garlic Bread
  • 100 grams Green Peppercorns
  • 10 grams Dill
  • 4 grams Bay leaves
  • 120 grams Salt
  • 70 grams Sugar
  • 4 grams Citric acid
  • 2 grams Cloves
  • 350 millilitres Vinegar

Method

  1. Blanch garlic in sufficient boiling water for half a minute. Drain, refresh and set aside. When cool place the blanched garlic and green peppercorns at the base of a sterilized glass jar and set aside. In a separate jar combine dill leaves, bay leaves, salt, sugar, citric acid, cloves and vinegar and stir to mix well. Pour the vinegar mixture over the garlic and green peppercorns, seal the jar tight and set aside for three to four days.
