By Sanjeev Kapoor 13 Mar 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium green apple, French baguette Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Green Apple Salsa on Toast - SK Khazana 1 Medium green apple 1 French baguette 4 tablespoons Olive oil 1 Medium tomato finely chopped 1 Medium onion finely chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 1 teaspoon Green chillies chopped 2 tablespoons Lemon juice to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed a few to garnish Fresh coriander sprigs a few to garnish Black olives sliced Method Preheat the oven to 180° C. Cut the French baguette into not-too-thin slices. Grease a baking tray with 1 tbsp oil. Place baguette slices on it and drizzle 2 tbsps olive oil over them. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes. Finely chop the green apple and transfer it in a bowl. Add tomato, onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, lemon juice, salt, crushed black pepper and 1 tbsp oil and mix well. Place bread slices on a serving platter and keep a spoonful of salsa on top of each. Garnish each slice with a coriander sprig and an olive slice.
