Ingredients for Honey Cherry Energy Bars Recipe

  • Honey 1/2 cup

  • Cherries 1/2 cup

  • Desiccated coconut 3 tablespoons

  • Almonds 1 cup

  • Dates pitted 6

  • Oats toasted 1/4 cup

  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Blend together honey, cherries, coconut, almonds and dates at high speed, stirring in between if necessary. Transfer the mixture into a bowl.

Step 2

Add oats and lemon juice and mix well. Grease an 8 inch square baking dish. Put the mixture into it, keep a piece of plastic over the top to prevent sticking and level the surface. Refrigerate for two hours. Cut into bars and serve.
