Ingredients list for Kadipatta Chutney

  • 2 cups Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 cup Bengal Gram Roasted roasted
  • 20-25 Black peppercorns
  • Tamarind ball marble sized
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Roast curry leaves, gram, peppercorns and tamarind one by one till dry and crisp.  Mix well. Set is aside to cool.
  2. Once cooled, transfer into the jar of a mixer and grind to a powder. Add salt and mix well.
  3. Cool completely and store in an airtight container. Tastes wonderful with hot steamed rice and ghee.
