By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Basmati rice, Garlic Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Lasooni Palak Pulao- Sk Khazana 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked for 15 minutes and drained 2 tablespoons Garlic finely chopped 2 cups Spinach leaves (palak) shredded 2 tablespoons Ghee 5-6 Black peppercorns 1/2 inch stick Cinnamon 3-4 Cloves 2 Green cardamoms to taste Salt for garnish Fried garlic for garnish Fried spinach to serve Boondi raita Method Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add black peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves, green cardamoms and garlic, mix well and sauté till it turns golden brown. Add rice and mix well. Add salt and 2½ cups water and mix well. Cover and cook till rice is almost cooked. Add spinach and mix with a light hand. . Cook for 1-2 minutes and take it off the heat.
