By Sanjeev Kapoor 13 May 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Yellow dried peas (matra), Salt Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 7-8 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Matra Chaat - SK Khazana 1 cup Yellow dried peas (matra) soaked overnight to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 Medium onion chopped 2 Green chillies chopped 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Black salt 1/2 teaspoon Dried mango powder 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Drain the yellow dried peas and put into a pressure cooker, add salt, turmeric powder and 2 cups water and cook under pressure till 5 whistles are given out. Place the cooked peas in a bowl, add onion, green chillies, lemon juice, pepper powder, red chilli powder, black salt, dried mango powder and roasted cumin powder. Mix well.
