Ingredients for Mixed Salad with Sumac Recipe

  • Large onion 1/2

  • Medium tomatoes 2

  • Medium cucumber 1 medium

  • Radish 1/2 medium

  • Sumac powder 1 tablespoon

  • Rocket leaves 6-8

  • Fresh mint leaves 6-7

  • Iceberg lettuce leaves 5-7

  • Garlic cloves 3-4

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns freshly crushed to taste

  • Lemon juice extracted 1/2

  • Extra virgin olive oil 2-3 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Slice onion. Roughly chop tomatoes and cucumber. Roughly slice radish. Put all the vegetables in a bowl.

Step 2

Roughly tear rocket leaves, mint leaves and iceberg lettuce leaves and add to the same bowl.

Step 3

Crush garlic cloves and add. Add salt and black peppercorns. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into the bowl.

Step 4

Add sumac powder and extra virgin olive oil and mix everything well.

Step 5

Arrange the salad on a serving platter and serve immediately.
