By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Jul 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), Corn kernels Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Paneer Corn Bread Pakoda - SK Khazana 2 cups Cottage cheese (paneer) grated 1 cup Corn kernels boiled 8 White bread slices as required Ready made gram flour (besan) batter 1 tablespoon Oil 2 teaspoons Garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida 2 Green chillies chopped to taste Salt to deep fry Oil Method Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic paste and sauté for 30 seconds. Add corn kernels, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add turmeric powder, asafoetida powder, green chillies and salt, mix well and sauté for 2 minutes. Add cottage cheese, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Top 4 bread slices with a generous portion cottage cheese mixture and cover with remaining bread slices. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Cut each sandwich into triangles, dip in gram batter and deep-fry in hot oil till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
