Paunk Ka Salad Fresh jawar pearls tossed to make a salad This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fresh green jowar (paunk) , Green garlic Cuisine Gujarati Course Salads Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Medium Others Veg Ingredients list for Paunk Ka Salad 1 1/2 cups Fresh green jowar (paunk) 12-15 Green garlic 1/4 bunch Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 Green chilli 1 tablespoons Raw mango, chopped to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 large Onion, chopped 1 large Tomato, seeded and chopped 1/2 cup Pepper sev Method Heat a non stick pan on low heat, add the paunk and let it heat for three to four minutes. Meanwhile grind together green garlic, coriander leaves, green chillies, half the raw mango to a coarse chutney. Transfer the chutney into a bowl. Add salt and lemon juice and mix. Transfer the paunk into a mixing bowl. Add onion, tomato and salt and mix. Add one tablespoon of green garlic chutney and mix well. Grate the remaining raw mango and sprinkle on top.
