Peanut Butter Chocolates

Ingredients list for Peanut Butter Chocolates

  • ¾ cup Peanut butter
  • 2 cups Dark chocolate melted
  • ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • ½ cup Fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • as required Peanuts coarsely crushed

Method

  1. To prepare caramel sauce, heat castor sugar in a non-stick pan and cook till it caramelizes. Add cream, mix and cook for 1 minute. Add butter and mix till it melts.
  2. Fill a plastic chocolate mould tray with melted dark chocolate, swirl it around and pour back into the chocolate bowl. Scrape off excess with a scrapper. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  3. Fill 2 different piping bags with caramel sauce and peanut butter in each.
  4. Pipe out some caramel sauce in each mould filling ¼ of it. Put some crushed peanuts on top. Pipe out peanut butter filling ¾ of it and gently tap the tray.
  5. Fill up moulds with remaining melted dark chocolate and tap. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  6. De-mould and serve.
