Ingredients list for Pepperoni and Asparagus Canapes

  • 5-6 Asparagus
  • White bread slices edges discarded and cut into 4
  • 16 pepperoni slices
  • ½ teaspoon For topping Butter
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese grated
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes

Method

  1. Spread some butter on each bread piece. Place one pepperoni slice on each bread pieces.
  2. Cut asparagus into 2 inch pieces and place 3 pieces on each bread piece.
  3. Take cheese in a bowl. Add crushed peppercorns, salt and chilli flakes and mix well.
  4. Put some cheese mixture on asparagus on each bread piece.
  5. Heat ½ teaspoon butter in a non-stick pan. Place prepared bread, cover and cook till cheese melts.
  6. Serve immediately.
