By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Oct 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gram flour (besan), Oil Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Pithla - SK Khazana 1/2 cup Gram flour (besan) 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped 1 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped 8-10 Curry leaves 2 Medium onions finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 tablespo to garnish Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves and sauté well. Add onions, mix and sauté till they turn light brown. Add gram flour, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, mix and cook for another 5-6 minutes. Add salt and lemon juice and mix. Add 1 cup water, mix till smooth, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add coriander leaves and remove from heat.
