Restaurant Style Yellow Gravy This flavourful gravy can be used to cook vegetables as well as chicken, mutton or eggs too. This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Feb 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Green Peas, Tomato Puree Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Restaurant Style Yellow Gravy 1 cup Green Peas boiled 2 tablespoons Tomato Puree 1 cup Tomato puree 1 tablespoon Oil 3 medium Onions 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 2 medium Potatoes boiled and peeled for garnishing Spring onion greens roughly chopped Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Quarter onions and put into a chopper, finely chop them, add to the pan and sauté till brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and 1 tbsp water and mix well. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes. Add 3 cups water and mix well. Add salt. Mix together wheat flour and 3 tbsps water in a bowl till smooth and add to the pan. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Blend with a hand blender in the pan itself till smooth. Add green peas and mix well. Quarter potatoes, add and mix well. Simmer for a few minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with spring onion greens and serve immediately.
