This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cooked rice , White sesame seeds Cuisine Andhra Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Til Aur Kadi Patta Rice 3 cups Cooked rice 2 tablespoons White sesame seeds roasted 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds (kale til) roasted 1/2 cup Curry leaves 2 medium Onions 2 tablespoons Oil 2 teaspoons Ghee 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal) 3 Green chillies 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 2 teaspoons Lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns Method Chop onions. Roughly chop most of the curry leaves. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add 1 tsp ghee and let it melt. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds and split Bengal gram and saute till gram is lightly browned. Add onions and saute till onions are golden. Add remaining whole curry leaves and the chopped curry eaves and continue to saute for 2 minutes.Chop green chillies and add and mix. Add turmeric powder and rice and toss lightly. Sprinkle ¼ cup water and mix. Add salt, white and black sesame seeds and mix well.Add lemon juice and crushed black peppercorns and mix.
